National Councillor, former co- President Green Party Switzerland
Adèle Thorens Goumaz is a Green Party Vaud National Councilor. Ms. Goumaz has a background in philosophy and political science and was a researcher and assistant professor of philosophy and environmental ethics at University of Lausanne and IDHEAP. She founded and led the WWF Training Center in Romandie headquarters and then continued on in senior training in the environmental field. Elected as National Councilor in 2007, she is currently the Vice-President of the Green Party parliamentary group. She is also the former Co-President of the Green Party Switzerland in jobsharing with Ms. Regula Rytz. Her areas of predilection are the green economy, energetic transition and biodiversity.
