Marie Méan

Associate Physician in Top Sharing at the Lausanne University Hospital

Marie Méan, 39 years old, 2 children, working in Lausanne University Hospital as attending physician. Graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of Lausanne University in 2002, she recently obtained the academic title of “maître d’enseignement et de recherche (MER)” within the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne.

Her clinical activity focuses on the care of patients, often polymorbid and chronically ill with complex diseases, hospitalized in internal medicine.

Currently working part-time (in an intergenerational topsharing), globally two third of her total working time is allocated to clinical duties and one third to research and management activities. Her research focuses on patient-oriented clinical research in general medicine, in particular how best to use medical resources.
