National Councillor, President of the Green Party Switzerland
Regula Rytz was born in 1962 and holds a lic. phil. hist,. She is the National Councillor and President of the Green (Switzerland) party. She previously acted as Secretary to the central Swiss Trade Union and was a Researcher for the National Fund Program no. 40 on daily violence and organized crime. She has a long-lived political commitment to the Grand Council of the Canton of Bern as well as 8 years as an elected member to the City of Bern for Civil Engineering, Waste Management and Transport Policy (with 750 collaborators). The Presidency of the Green (Switzerland) party has been shared for the past 4 years with Co-President Adèle Thorens and has been a very good experience.
